Michael’s story is called “Barbwire Teeth” — When a wolf god is released on an unsuspecting party in the desert, a broken man must choose between freedom and friendship.
The untitled dark-fantasy novel is about a man who spends his nights cheering up the grieving, and a broken woman struggling with the loss of her father. Together they escape a grief-worshiping cult and are thrust on a journey across the Dead Lands in the hopes of keeping the gods of grief from breaking free of their prison and inflicting untold loss and pain on all of existence.
